Three creative minds in dialogue: artists and a sleep researcher discuss residencies and their traces. An evening full of inspiration at the city gallery.
Description
As part of the anniversary exhibition "More than a guest – AIR & SIR," the independent artists Mischa Reska and Philipp Paulus, along with scientist Kerstin Hödlmoser, discuss the transformative impact of residency programs. The conversation is moderated by Laura Lapuch.
Mischa Reska, born in Salzburg, works with painting and photography and was Artist in Residence in Dresden in 2023. Philipp Paulus, also based in Salzburg, combines painting, graphic art, and music – as a musician, he is part of the band "The Velvet Swing." Kerstin Hödlmoser researches sleep and cognitive performance at the Centre for Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Salzburg and recently, together with a US colleague, examined the importance of sleep for children and adolescents.
The event explores how residencies shape artistic and scientific processes and leave lasting traces.
