The Cloudmaker

"The Cloud Maker" by CIE Filou tells a tender story about friendship and the power of imagination. A traveler and his loyal umbrella, suffering from a long drought, embark on an unusual mission: they want to build a cloud. But how does something so fleeting come into being?

With acrobatic feats, magical illusions, and poetic imagery, the performance blends object manipulation, new circus, and modern magic. Playfully, it addresses current issues such as water scarcity and human intervention in nature—without being preachy. Language plays a minor role; scattered words in different languages underscore the universal message.

Suitable for children aged five and up, the performance lasts about 45 minutes. The delicate plot touches through its simplicity and invites visitors to immerse themselves in a world full of wonder and compassion.
