Experience a unique concert featuring Mozart's lively Linz Symphony and Beethoven's picturesque Pastoral. Conductor Roberto González-Monjas leads the Salzburg Mozarteum Orchestra in the Great Hall of the Mozarteum Foundation.
Under the direction of the experienced conductor Roberto González-Monjas, members of the Mozarteumorchester Salzburg perform two masterpieces of the Viennese Classical period. Wolfgang Amadé Mozart’s "Linz Symphony" (KV 425) captivates with its cheerful opening movement and contrapuntal finale, while Ludwig van Beethoven’s "Pastoral" (Symphony No. 6) captures nature in sound through its five programmatic movements, including the famous "Storm." The evening combines Mozart’s formal elegance with Beethoven’s revolutionary sound language, offering a fascinating insight into the development of symphonic music.
