Description

This interactive listening concert invites children aged 4 to 11 to an unusual singing competition: a green crocodile is convinced it can sing – but what makes for a great performance? Different voices and characters show that every voice has its own unique sound. Sometimes listening quietly, sometimes dancing or singing, visitors experience music up close and observe how sounds are produced on instruments or vocal cords.

The focus is on questions like: Does a great performance require perfect notes, or is it sometimes enough to simply have the courage to raise your own voice? Playfully, clichés are challenged – such as whether princesses always have to appear in pink – and stories like the friendship between finch Fridolin and cheeky badger Frida are told. A concert that invites you to listen, participate, and marvel, showing that music begins wherever you dare to start.
