Six high-caliber chamber music concerts featuring works from the Baroque era to the present day – from Gluck to modern rarities. A musical experience in a class of its own!
As part of HerbstTöne 2026 – a six-part concert series by the University Mozarteum – this chamber music concert explores the hidden side of the classical style. Under the direction of Cibrán Sierra Vázquez (violin) and Enrico Bronzi (cello), the chamber orchestra presents works by Christoph Willibald Gluck and Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach. Faculty and students together create a program that spans from antiquity to the present day, featuring both canonical pieces and rarely performed rarities of classicism.
The concert series offers a musical journey from the Baroque to contemporary compositions, with highlights such as guitar ensembles and an evening dedicated to the cello. This evening unites virtuosity and seduction through sonic diversity – interpreted by an ensemble that bridges tradition and innovation.
