Experience a magical ballet evening with world-famous dancers and the Salzburg ensemble. Classical meets modern – a celebration for art lovers and a fundraising event for AIDS-Hilfe Salzburg.
The International Ballet Gala is one of the highlights of the Salzburg cultural calendar, transforming the Landestheater into a meeting point for the global ballet scene every year. Since its founding by Prof. Peter Breuer, the gala has established itself as a permanent charity event, where internationally celebrated dancers from renowned companies present a varied program alongside the ensemble of the Salzburg Landestheater.
Under the artistic direction of Reginaldo Oliveira and Armin Frauenschuh, the event combines classical elegance with contemporary virtuosity. Spectators can enjoy masterful solo and ensemble performances, captivating variations, and surprising choreographic moments that highlight the vitality and diversity of ballet art. The gala merges artistic excellence with social commitment: participants waive a portion of their fees, and the collected donations benefit AIDS-Hilfe Salzburg.
