Two jazz greats combine Mediterranean charm with Brooklyn energy. Pure improvisation with accordion, piano, and band – an evening filled with passion and virtuosity.
Description
Two giants of contemporary jazz come together in a unique concert: Luciano Biondini, an accordion virtuoso, blends classical precision with jazz passion, making the traditional sounds of his Italian homeland audible. Emiliano D’Auria, pianist and composer, with his ensemble Brooklyn Bound, draws on collective improvisation and draws from Mediterranean and African-American influences. His music is characterized by melodic depth and rhythmic experimental joy.
Together with Philip Dizack (trumpet), Lucas Pino (alto saxophone), Jacopo Ferrazza (double bass), and Joe Dyson (drums), they create an evening that combines lyrical jazz with untamed energy. A concert that transcends the boundaries between Italian tradition and modern jazz, transporting the audience into a world of rich sonic diversity.
