Making music for children (ages 5-10) and parents: try out instruments, play simple songs – no prior knowledge required. Guaranteed fun together!
Description
This workshop is designed for children aged 5 to 10 who want to explore their first musical experiences together with parents, grandparents, or other companions. Without prior knowledge, instruments such as guitar, drums, or bass can be tried out while playing simple songs like Hey, Hey Wickie, Ed Sheeran’s U.N.I., or pieces by The Beatles and U2. Participants are also welcome to bring their own instruments.
The workshop is led by Klaus Kircher, an experienced musician and educator who explains the functions of the instruments. The equipment is provided by Rockhouse. The workshop is free of charge, but registration is required.
