Salty Fusion: Alternative Partner Dance in Summer

Salty Fusion is an open partner dance event that takes place every first and third Tuesday of the month. Here, fusion dance is practiced—a creative blend of styles such as tango, blues, and contact improvisation, danced to a wide variety of music. The evening is open to everyone, regardless of dance level or gender identity.

What makes it special is that participants learn both leading and following, consciously breaking away from traditional role models. The evening begins with a 1.5-hour workshop, followed by open dancing. In the summer, the event takes place in Donnenberg Park if the weather is good; otherwise, it is held at HOSI Salzburg. Participation is based on a flexible donation system—every contribution is welcome.
