Spontaneous jazz without sheet music: pure improvisation with free admission! Musicians and newcomers jam together – everything happens live. Admission is free.
Description
The "No Sheet Sheesh" Groove Session is an open jazz event where spontaneous, rhythm-driven improvisations take center stage. Without prepared pieces, sheet music, or fixed plans, collective sounds emerge here—shaped by ideas, groove, and a spirit of experimentation. Inspired by sessions like the West Belt United Groove Club or the JazzCanDance Festival, the event invites musicians of all experience levels to participate.
The lineup is announced at short notice, but the session thrives on the diversity of its participants. Whether experienced professionals or newcomers: everyone is welcome who is eager to make music spontaneously and in a relaxed yet focused atmosphere. Respect for the performances ensures a shared experience of the music.
