Salty Fusion: Alternative Partner Dance

Salty Fusion is an open partner dance event that takes place every first and third Tuesday of the month to dance together—regardless of experience, gender identity, or sexual orientation. The focus is on breaking traditional role patterns: all participants learn both leading and following.

The style 'Fusion' combines elements from tango, blues, contact improvisation, and other dances, interpreted to a variety of music such as jazz, electronic sounds, or world music. In the summer, the event is held outdoors on the dance platform in Donnenberg Park if the weather is good, and indoors at the HOSI Salzburg premises in case of rain.

The evening starts at 7:15 PM with a 1.5-hour workshop, followed by free dancing from 8:45 PM. Participation is on a voluntary donation basis (recommended: 5–15 euros, but also free of charge possible). The teaching language is a mix of German and English.
