Christmas Concert with Narration
Experience Dickens' Christmas classic as a musical narrative! Baroque and film music accompany Scrooge's transformation – perfect for the whole family.
Charles Dickens’ timeless Christmas classic A Christmas Carol comes to life in this family concert. The audience experiences how the embittered businessman Ebenezer Scrooge, through encounters with three mysterious Christmas spirits, becomes a warm-hearted person. Compassion, friendship, and love for one’s neighbor take center stage—accompanied by scenically integrated Baroque and film music.
Frederic Böhle and Katharina Gudmundsson narrate and embody the characters, while Elisabeth Fuchs conducts the Salzburg Philharmonic. The concert is especially aimed at young audiences and lasts 60 minutes without an intermission. A moving journey that shows how music and storytelling can together touch hearts.
