Experience award-winning cabaret artist Friedemann Weise live at Kulturkeller! With sharp wit and guitar sounds, he demonstrates why satire is irreplaceable. An evening full of humor and social criticism.
Friedemann Weise, award-winning cabaret artist and permanent member of the heute-show ensemble, presents his new solo show Satire suchen ein Zuhause (Satire Seeks a Home). With his guitar, a screen, and his human mini-clone Friedemännchen, he demonstrates in two 50-minute segments why satire is indispensable—as sharp-tongued social criticism, accompanied by musical and visual interludes. Weise, known for his work on extra3, Titanic, and the weekly WDR2 comedy History hautnah, blends absurd humor with pointed observations. The title itself is an awkward pun that reflects the evening’s self-deprecating wit. A show that celebrates satire as a vital tool—with sharp analyses, unexpected twists, and plenty of entertainment.
