Explore Salzburg's historical sites and learn how violence has shaped the city. Guided tour through the Andräviertel with historical insights.
Description
This walking tour through the Andräviertel district sheds light on traces of violence in Salzburg's city history. Led by Isabel Bojanovsky (Violence Protection Umbrella) and Sabine Veits-Falk (City Archive), historical sites are explored where political persecution, social exclusion, or structural oppression become visible. The tour shows how these forms of violence have shaped the city and continue to have an impact today.
Visitors are invited to reflect on the historical traces and discuss how this past influences our current coexistence. The focus is on coming to terms with the history of violence and raising awareness of its long-term consequences.
