Kaleidoscope – A Dance Performance by Editta Braun

“KALEIDOSKÓPIO” is an intimate dance performance by Editta Braun that invites only six viewers to experience a radical shift in perspective. Four dancers – Weng Teng Choi-Buttinger, Nikola Majtanova, Jerca Rožnik Novak, and Simona Štangová – move on a glass platform while the audience lies beneath. The unusual viewing angle, where feet appear close and heads distant, creates an almost surreal atmosphere between contemporary dance and visual art.

The choreography plays with the question of how new perspectives can open political and aesthetic spaces. The music by Thierry Zaboitzeff and the stage design by Menie Weissbacher enhance the immersive effect of the performance. A 45-minute experience that invites reflection on perception and boundaries.
