A sensory experience for young and old: dance and Baroque music merge into a floating river of textiles and sounds. Suitable from 1 year of age!
Description
"Flow" is a sensual dance and music production by Toihaus for all age groups from one year old. Two performers explore a world of fabrics, ribbons, and shiny foils with live guitar music – they twist, fold, and throw the materials, creating silky wing beats or shimmering threads. The choreography moves between gentle and lively moments, like a dance between water and wind, always in the floating flow of a spiral.
Baroque compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach and Gaspar Sanz blend with contemporary expression. The performance is created by Julie Carrere and Marta De Masi (alternating with Elena Francalanci). The concept and overall direction are by Cornelia Böhnisch and Katharina Schrott, with musical dramaturgy by Yoko Yagihara. An invitation to marvel – for the youngest from one year old as well as for adults.
