An evening filled with sonic sophistication and modern jazz: Lorenz Widauer and Philipp Schiepek present explosive grooves and lyrical ballads with their quartet. A must for jazz enthusiasts!
As part of the Jazzit:Residency 2026, Lorenz Widauer and Philipp Schiepek present their project "Bangers & Ballads." Widauer, a defining trumpeter and composer in the Austrian jazz scene, navigates between improvised, contemporary, and transcultural music. Schiepek, a multi-award-winning guitarist, combines technical virtuosity with lyrical depth and influences from jazz, classical, and free improvisation.
