Description
The concert series "Orgel zu Mittag" invites you on a half-hour sound journey at the unique Propter Homines organ in the Great Hall of the Mozarteum Foundation. The organ, specially designed for this space in 2010, combines cutting-edge technology with a historical sound ideal and blends visually and acoustically with the hall, which ranks among the most beautiful concert halls in the world.
International organists such as Francesco Cardelli, Risa Toho, and Xianmei Fang present a varied program ranging from Baroque masterpieces to contemporary compositions. A special highlight is the "Orgel zu Halloween" concert, offering an impressive, emotionally charged performance. At the "Family Special" on April 17, 2027, interested visitors will also have the opportunity to discover the complex mechanics and rich sound of the organ up close.
