Mozart Night Mozart Consort Salzburg

The castle concert in the Marble Hall of Mirabell Palace, one of the most beautiful and historically significant concert halls in Salzburg, promises an enchanting night full of classical music. On September 4, 2025, the Mozart Consort Salzburg will present works by Mozart and Tchaikovsky. Founded in 1999, the ensemble pays tribute to the genius loci of the city of Mozart, inspired by Leopold Mozart's "The Thorough Violin School." The renowned cellist Matthias Beckmann will perform the concerto for cello and strings after KV 447. In addition to Mozart's Salzburg Divertimento and Tchaikovsky's Rococo Variations, the program includes masterpieces of the Viennese Classical period.
