Experience choirs live! Sing along, discover rehearsals, vocal training, and house tours. For young people and adults – an insight into the world of the Bach Choir and CHAKA.
Description
The CHAKA Youth Choir and the Bachchor Salzburg open their doors for a day filled with music and interactive offerings. Between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM, visitors can participate in open rehearsals, including a CHAKA rehearsal for singing along (4:00 PM–5:30 PM) and a rehearsal of the Bachchor with Mozart’s Requiem in Süßmayr’s arrangement (5:45 PM–7:30 PM).
For young talents, there will be voice checks (4:00 PM–6:00 PM), observations in vocal training, and an FAQ session with the CHAKA team. House tours (3:00 PM–4:00 PM and 5:00 PM–6:00 PM) provide behind-the-scenes insights, while a slideshow and the open music archive showcase the work of the Bachchor. Information booths by the choirs and their supporters round out the program.
The event is artistically directed by Michael Schneider (Bachchor) and Thomas Schneider (CHAKA).
