Afternoon of Topics: Art Magazines and Zines

This themed afternoon focuses on the world of art magazines and zines. The collection at the Generali Foundation Study Center encompasses an impressive variety: from art magazines reporting on current developments, to scholarly journals, and on to experimental artist publications and zines that play with form and content. These media are not only places of documentation but also platforms for artistic exchange and self-expression.

During tours at 3:00 PM and 4:30 PM through the reading and media lounge as well as the library, librarian Stefanie Grünangerl will introduce the different publications. In the studio on the 3rd floor, visitors also have the opportunity to put their own creative ideas into practice in an open zine workshop and create their own personal zines.
