Open Career Day – Your Future in the Arts

The Open Career Day at the Mozarteum University provides insights into career perspectives in art, music, and culture. Visitors can gather information at consultation stands on topics such as taxes, social insurance, collecting societies, and professional associations, as well as participate in short presentations and networking opportunities.

The program includes speed-consulting sessions on careers and self-employment, advice on the music business from mica – music austria, and information on funding opportunities from the City of Salzburg. Additionally, there are workshops on fair pay, fees, and tax issues, a placement exchange for artists, and interactive stations. The day is rounded off with an information session on KultNetz, a networking exchange for artists and cultural professionals in Salzburg.
