Description
In the opulent rooms of the DomQuartier, visitors are welcomed to a musical family festival that transports them into the world of Romanticism. Inspired by the fairy tales and myths of the era, the journey leads to the mystical Untersberg, accompanied by works of Schubert and other Romantic composers. Sensitive sounds and nature-inspired motifs blend with an interactive discovery tour through the grand rooms.
Like in an escape game, participants follow clues, solve puzzles, and explore the Baroque architecture in harmony with Romantic music. At interactive stations – designed by the Institute for Game Research – costume, play, and creative areas invite active participation. Catering is provided.
Under the direction of Michaela Girardi and hosted by Laura Humphreys, Bach’s New Generation Orchestra presents a varied program together with young singers from Salzburg. A collaboration with the DomQuartier makes the day a special experience for all age groups.
