This family festival transports you into the magical world of fairy tales and myths of Romanticism. After a musical welcome by the Bach’s New Generation Orchestra, the Untersberg legend comes to life with music by Schubert and other composers of the era. The opulent rooms of the DomQuartier serve as a backdrop for a journey into the past, accompanied by games, dance, and culinary delights.
An exit game invites young and old to explore the rooms in a playful way while collecting clues. Costume, play, and design stations encourage active participation and immersion in the romantic atmosphere. Laura Humphreys hosts the program, while Michaela Girardi oversees the artistic direction. Young singers from Salzburg join the orchestra, creating a special concert experience.
In cooperation with the DomQuartier and the Institute for Play Research, the event becomes an interactive experience that combines music, play, and research. A closing parade rounds off the day, making the festival an unforgettable experience for the whole family.
