Description

"Gut Feelings" is a participatory performance for babies aged 6 to 18 months and their caregivers. Produced by Performat Foundation and choreographed by Hanna Bylka-Kanecka, the piece explores the sensory world of eating as a fundamental ritual that connects care, presence, and bonding across cultural boundaries.

Through an artistic engagement with eating as an early experience of taste and rhythm, a space emerges that celebrates the quiet poetry of the everyday. Accompanied by improvised live music, the performance invites participants to rediscover this elemental act—as a moment of shared discovery and mindful encounter.

The concept and performance are by Dana Chmielewska and Hanna Bylka-Kanecka, with musical composition by Mateusz Kurek. Lighting design by Ewa Garniec and costumes by Angelina Jankowska-Janiak complete the sensory experience. Artistic consulting is provided by Katharina Schrott.
