Description

The Cuarteto Quiroga, one of Spain's leading string quartets, and violist Veronika Hagen perform works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga. The program features Mozart's String Quartet in E-flat major K. 428 and his String Quintet in C major K. 515, one of his most extensive chamber music works. The concert is complemented by Arriaga's String Quartet No. 3 in E-flat major, an early Romantic work by the composer.

The members of the Cuarteto Quiroga – Aitor Hevia, Cibrán Sierra Vázquez (violin), Josep Puchades and Helena Poggio (viola) – are renowned for their sonic precision and expressive power. Veronika Hagen enriches the program with her virtuosic viola playing.
