Description

In this family concert of the Mozart Week 2027, the legendary night before the premiere of Mozart’s Don Giovanni is brought to life musically and humorously. Inspired by a well-known anecdote, the accio piano trio, together with baritone Dominik Jan Milewski, tells the story of how Mozart composed the overture under pressure—between steaming coffee, flying sheet music, and brief yoga breaks. Featuring works by Mozart, Schubert, Schumann, Arvo Pärt, and Noëmi Haffner, the concert captures the magic of the creative process and is suitable for visitors aged six and up.

The program blends classical compositions with modern arrangements and a touch of theater. The revival of this successful format (MOWO 25) promises a lively mix of music, storytelling, and playful joy. The performers include Dominik Jan Milewski (baritone) and the accio piano trio: Clemens Böck (violin & arrangements), Anne Keckeis (cello & libretto), and Christina Scheicher (piano & libretto).
