Discussing parenthood, care work, and societal challenges together – over soup and personal stories. An evening for exchange and listening.
Description
What does parenthood mean today? What feelings and experiences do people associate with it – and why do some consciously decide for or against children? At SALON BOUILLON, the focus is on shared conversation: in a small group and over a warm bowl of noodle soup, participants share personal stories, memories, and perspectives. The only rule: listening is mandatory, sharing is voluntary.
The evening begins with Steffi Fladenhofer as the keynote speaker. The feminist activist sparked a nationwide debate in Austria in 2026 with a critical question to the Chancellor about care work, structural discrimination against women, and the conditions of motherhood. Her commitment is dedicated to making unpaid care work and societal inequalities visible. Under the title "MAKING HERSTORY," the storytelling café highlights female and diverse experiences – beyond traditional narratives.
