Franz Trattner's Open Mic Session at Jazzit:Bar

This Open Mic session draws inspiration from the legendary sessions at New York’s Village Underground, inviting musicians to join the Fun(k) Orchestra in performing classics from soul, R&B, blues, and funk. The fixed setlist includes tracks like Aretha Franklin’s "Respect," Ray Charles’ "What’d I Say," and Amy Winehouse’s "Back to Black"—a blend of timeless hits and modern adaptations.

Participants can jump in spontaneously, whether as vocalists or instrumentalists. Beginners have access to a hotline for questions about keys or arrangements. The band features Stephanie Semeniuc (vocals), Serafin Javorka (trumpet & organ), Stephan Konzett (piano), Roland Wesp (keyboards), Rafael Trujillo (guitar), Lukas Kranjc (bass), Franziska Trattner (percussion), and Franz Trattner (drums). Admission is free.
