Description

At "Mozart à la Chaplin," visitors experience a unique symbiosis of silent film classics and live music. The Austrian.Acoustic.Trio Folksmilch accompanies the two Charlie Chaplin films "The Adventurer" (1917) and "The Cure" (1917) with a creative blend of Mozart interpretations and their own folk compositions. The musicians Christian Bakanic (accordion & percussion), Klemens Bittmann (violin & mandola) and Eddie Luis (double bass & vocals) create a distinctive sound that infuses the silent film era with modern energy.

Chaplin's films, known for their sharp wit and socially critical undertones, are brought to life through the live music, casting them in a new light. The trio combines classical elegance with folksy lightness, emphasizing the timeless magic of early cinema. An evening that fascinates by connecting history and the present in a captivating way.
