Princess Mara and the Story of Stories

At the Theater der Mitte, the enchanting puppet theater play "Princess Mara and the Story of Stories" is performed – a production featuring acting, puppets, and live music for children aged four and up, as well as all age groups. Princess Mara, who loves stories above all else, embarks on an adventure when her parents announce a storytelling competition. The prize: the queen’s magical amulet. However, a mysterious young man in a green coat kidnaps her into his realm after she promises him the amulet. There, Mara must prove herself in a strange world, supported by new friends like the warm-hearted Frieda, the kind-hearted giant twins Alois and Belois, and her talking cat Frederick, who has a distinctive wart on his nose. Together, they overcome challenges, free an enchanted pig with a horn, and eventually find their way back home.

With lovingly designed stage sets by Victoria Diaz Varas and atmospheric live music by Tom Reif and Ben Blaikner, the play becomes a magical experience. A story about courage, friendship, and the power of imagination.
