Poetic puppet production of Saint-Exupéry's classic – touching for children aged 8 and up and adults. Featuring lovingly crafted figures and a magical atmosphere.
Description
"The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry tells the touching story of a prince who travels to different planets and learns that what is essential is invisible to the eye. The famous line "It is only with the heart that one can see rightly" is at the heart of this adaptation, which, with a text version by Alexandra Liedtke, appeals to both adults and children aged 8 and up.
The production is distinguished by lovingly crafted marionettes made in the workshops of the Salzburg Marionette Theatre. The set design and lighting by Raimund Orfeo Voigt, along with the character designs and costumes by Lane Schäfer, create a magical atmosphere. The story is underscored by music and sound design by Parviz Mir-Ali, while a cast of puppeteers and speakers bring the characters to life. The combination of craftsmanship and timeless storytelling makes this performance a special experience.
