Description
The castle concert in the baroque marble hall of Mirabell Palace in Salzburg offers an outstanding musical experience. The Beija-flor String Quartet and pianist Alba Llorach Roca present a varied program featuring works by Mozart, Gershwin, and Haydn. The program includes Mozart's Salzburg Divertimento in F Major KV 138 and the Piano Concerto in E-flat Major KV 271 "Jenamy," Gershwin's iconic "Rhapsody in Blue," as well as Haydn's String Quartet in C Major op. 74/1. Founded in 2015, the Beija-flor String Quartet is known for its lively interpretation and intense dialogue with the audience. Their artistic achievements include winning the first prize at the Gianni Bergamo Classic Music Award 2022.
