Description
An extraordinary concert featuring works by Mozart and Haydn takes place in the baroque Marble Hall of Mirabell Palace in Salzburg. The internationally composed Altenau ensemble, consisting of five experienced chamber musicians, presents a diverse program. The performances include Haydn's Divertimento in D major Hob. III:3 and Mozart's Salzburg Divertimento in F major KV 138. After a break, the program continues with the Quintet for Horn and Strings in E-flat major KV 407 and the Concerto for Horn and Orchestra in E-flat major KV 447. The concert concludes with Mozart's famous Serenade in G major KV 525 "Eine kleine Nachtmusik." The magnificent Marble Hall, a site of historical significance, provides an incomparable atmosphere for this musical experience.
