Description
In the historic Marble Hall of Schloss Mirabell, the Altenau Ensemble presents a classical concert featuring works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Joseph Haydn. The program includes Haydn's Divertimento in D major Hob. III:3 and Piano Concerto in D major Hob. XVIII:11, as well as Mozart's Piano Concerto in A major K. 414 and the famous Serenade in G major K. 525 "Eine kleine Nachtmusik." The ensemble, composed of five European chamber musicians, specializes in music from the 18th and late 19th centuries and performs with internationally renowned soloists. At the piano, Ines Bartha-Sannicandro accompanies the performance.
The Marble Hall, once a performance venue for the Mozart family, is among the most beautiful concert halls in the world and lends the evening a special historical atmosphere. Program changes may occur.
