Description

In the baroque Marble Hall of Mirabell Palace, Ensemble 1756, together with solo violinist Kamile Kubiliute, presents a concert honoring Mozart's diverse works. The program includes the early Salzburg Divertimento in D major KV 136, the Violin Concerto in A major KV 219, as well as the overture to "Le Nozze di Figaro" KV 492 and the well-known Serenade in G major KV 525 "Eine kleine Nachtmusik." The evening will conclude with Pablo de Sarasate's "Zigeunerweisen," which combines virtuosic brilliance and emotional depth.

Ensemble 1756 brings together musicians who primarily received their training at the Mozarteum Salzburg and are now active in renowned orchestras. With chamber music precision and a vibrant ensemble culture, the concert offers a cross-section of Mozart's oeuvre—from the lightness of his early compositions to the expressive power of his mature masterpieces. The interplay between the solo violin and the ensemble promises a special listening experience full of elegance and passion.
