The castle concert in the Marble Hall of Mirabell Palace in Salzburg promises a fascinating musical experience with masterpieces by Mozart, performed by the renowned Amadeus Consort Salzburg. The program includes the Salzburg Divertimento in D major KV 136, the Quintet for Clarinet and Strings in A major KV 581, the Overture to "Le Nozze di Figaro" KV 492, as well as the Clarinet Concerto in A major KV 622. Marius Birtea enchants as the soloist on the clarinet.
The Marble Hall, with its magnificent Baroque decorations, is one of the most important concert halls in Salzburg and worldwide. Once, the Mozart family performed here for the Archbishops of Salzburg, giving the concert a special historical note.
