The castle concert in the Marble Hall of Mirabell Palace presents the Mozart Consort Salzburg with a program of classical masterpieces. The performance begins with Mozart's Salzburg Divertimento in D major KV 136, followed by Boccherini's Cello Concerto in G major G.480, performed by Matthias Beckmann, and Mozart's Serenade in G major KV 525 'Eine kleine Nachtmusik'. After the intermission, Mozart's March in D major KV 290 and Haydn's Cello Concerto and Strings in D major Hob. VIIb:2 follow. The Mozart Consort Salzburg, internationally recognized for its CD recordings, brings together musicians with a long-standing tradition of playing music together.
