Description

In the Baroque Marble Hall of Schloss Mirabell, one of the most beautiful concert halls in the world, works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and other composers resonate. Ensemble 1756, founded in Salzburg in 2006, presents a program that combines Baroque elegance with classical master artistry. The musicians, trained at renowned institutions such as the Mozarteum Salzburg, perform in leading orchestras and play in flexible formations—ranging from chamber music to larger ensembles.

The hall, where the Mozart family once played for the Salzburg archbishops, offers unique acoustics and a historic atmosphere. Known for their artistic refinement and international performances (including in Europe, Asia, and America), the ensemble blends stylistic diversity with vibrant expressiveness. An evening of music that merges sound and space into a special experience.
