In the Baroque Marble Hall of Schloss Mirabell, where the Mozart family once performed for the Salzburg archbishops, the ensemble 1756, together with solo oboist Emmanuelle Lalancette, presents a concert that brings Mozart’s oeuvre to life in all its diversity. The ensemble, whose members trained at the Mozarteum Salzburg, combines chamber music precision with sonic finesse.
At the heart of the program is the oboe, whose distinctive sound oscillates between lyrical elegance and virtuosic brilliance. The repertoire spans from Mozart’s youthful freshness in the Salzburg Divertimento in D major to the mature expressiveness of the Serenade in G major, "Eine kleine Nachtmusik." Also featured are the overture to "Le Nozze di Figaro" and the Oboe Quartet in F major for oboe and strings. Technical mastery and an intense musical dialogue between the soloist and ensemble promise a captivating listening experience.
