Description

In the magnificent marble hall of Schloss Mirabell, Ensemble 1756, together with solo oboist Emmanuelle Lalancette, presents a concert that illuminates all facets of Mozart’s musical creativity. Founded in Salzburg, the ensemble brings together graduates of the Mozarteum who now perform in renowned orchestras and ensembles. With chamber-music precision and sonic diversity, they guide the audience through Mozart’s works—from the youthful freshness of the Salzburg Divertimentos to the mature expressive power of the overture to "Le Nozze di Figaro."

At the heart of the program is the oboe, whose lyrical tone and distinctive expressive nuances shape the performance. Technical brilliance and an intense musical dialogue between soloist and ensemble promise a captivating listening experience. The program includes, among other pieces, the Oboe Quartet in F major for oboe and strings, the Serenade in G major "Eine kleine Nachtmusik," and the Oboe Concerto in C major for oboe and strings.
