Description

In the magnificent marble hall of Schloss Mirabell, one of Salzburg's most beautiful Baroque concert halls, a program featuring works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Franz Krommer will be performed this evening. Ensemble 1756, consisting of musicians from renowned orchestras and ensembles, presents Mozart's "Eine kleine Nachtmusik" as well as the overture to "Le Nozze di Figaro." The highlight is the Clarinet Concerto in A major, K. 622, performed by solo clarinetist Marius Birtea—a work of timeless beauty and emotional depth. The concert is complemented by Krommer's Quartet for Clarinet and Strings. The ensemble combines chamber music refinement with a vibrant ensemble culture. Program changes are possible.

The marble hall, once a venue for performances by the Mozart family, lends the concert a special historical setting and underscores the connection between music and place.
