Description

In the historic Marble Hall of Schloss Mirabell, one of Salzburg's most beautiful Baroque concert halls, works by Vivaldi and Mozart are performed in authentic interpretation. Ensemble 1756, founded in the Mozart city of Salzburg, plays on original instruments and dedicates itself with stylistic precision to 18th-century music.

The focus is on Mozart's Salzburg Divertimenti in D major (KV 136) and F major (KV 138) as well as Vivaldi's famous "Four Seasons" – a cycle that captures the moods of nature in vivid musical imagery. Under the direction of Florian Moser, Baroque violinist, the concert promises a sonorous experience blending Baroque elegance with lively rhetoric.
