In the Baroque Marble Hall of Schloss Mirabell, works by Vivaldi and Mozart resonate, performed by Ensemble 1756 on original instruments. The program includes Mozart’s Salzburg Divertimenti in D major (KV 136) and F major (KV 138) as well as Vivaldi’s famous "Four Seasons." Florian Moser, Baroque violin, leads the compositions as soloist.
Founded in 2006, Ensemble 1756 is dedicated to historical performance practice and impresses with its authentic sound. With performances in Salzburg, Vienna, and internationally, it has established itself as one of the leading Baroque orchestras. The Marble Hall, where the Mozart family once made music, provides the perfect setting for this concert, making Baroque music experienceable in its original splendor.
