Description

The Mozarteumorchester Salzburg, under the direction of Roberto González-Monjas, invites you to a Sunday matinee featuring musical highlights. The internationally celebrated violinist Lisa Batiashvili shines as the soloist.

The program opens with Gustav Mahler’s lyrical "Blumine," a rarely performed gem from his early creative period. This is followed by Magnus Lindberg’s Violin Concerto No. 1 – a work of breathtaking virtuosity and avant-garde sound language that will challenge and captivate Batiashvili as the soloist. The concert concludes with Johannes Brahms’ Symphony No. 1 in C minor, Op. 68, whose dramatic opening and symphonic mastery transport listeners into the world of Romanticism.

A successful blend of intimate chamber music and orchestral power, performed by one of Salzburg’s most renowned ensembles.
