Description
The castle concert in the Marble Hall of Mirabell Palace in Salzburg promises a musical experience featuring works by Mozart and Boccherini. The Beija-flor String Quartet, consisting of four passionate chamber musicians, will be accompanied by Alba Llorach Roca on piano and Cristina Pastore on flute.
The program includes Mozart's Salzburg Divertimento in D major KV 136 and the Piano Concerto in E-flat major KV 449, as well as Boccherini's Flute Quintet in G minor op. 19/2. After the intermission, Mozart's String Quartet in D minor KV 421 and the Rondo for Piano and Strings in D major KV 382 will be performed. Program changes are reserved.
The magnificently stuccoed Baroque Marble Hall, once a venue for performances by the Mozart family, provides a historical backdrop for the concert. The Beija-flor String Quartet, winner of the Gianni Bergamo Classic Music Award 2022, impresses with its participation in international festivals.
