Description
The castle concert in the magnificent Marble Hall of Mirabell Palace in Salzburg promises a musical experience of the highest caliber. Under the direction of the renowned Ensemble Orphée, works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Saverio Mercadante will be presented. The program includes, among other pieces, Mozart's overture to the opera 'The Magic Flute' and his String Quartet No. 4 in C major, as well as Mercadante's concerto for flute and strings in E minor.
After the break, Mozart's quartet for flute, violin, viola, and cello in C major and his symphony in G minor will be performed. Musicians from the most significant Salzburg orchestras and ensembles, hailing from various geographical and musical backgrounds, will provide a festive musical experience in the historically significant Marble Hall.
