Description

In the Baroque Marble Hall of Schloss Mirabell, the ensemble 1756, together with solo oboist Emmanuelle Lalancette, spans a musical arc through Mozart's oeuvre – from youthful freshness to mature mastery. At the heart of the program is the oboe, whose lyrical sound and expressive nuances are particularly highlighted in works such as the F-major quartet and the C-major concerto.

The performance includes Mozart's overture to "Le Nozze di Figaro", the Salzburg Divertimento in D major, the Oboe Quartet in F major, and the Serenade in G major "Eine kleine Nachtmusik". The ensemble 1756, made up of graduates of the Mozarteum Salzburg, combines historical performance practice with modern sound aesthetics. Through the intense musical dialogue between the soloist and the ensemble, a multifaceted listening experience emerges, making Mozart's genius tangible in all its facets.
