A magical play based on Cornelia Funke's book about Motte, who transforms into a werewolf. Suitable for ages 5 and up – an adventure about self-acceptance and friendship.
Suddenly, a moth is staring back at him from the mirror—his skin itches, fur grows, and a bite wound transforms him into a werewolf. Initially frightened, he soon discovers the power of his new form: he is no longer the little boy afraid of the dark. While he enjoys the freedom of being a werewolf, his best friend Lina misses the old moth. At the same time, he is pursued by the suspicious biology teacher, Mr. Faulwetter.
Based on the children's book of the same name by Cornelia Funke, the production by Maria-Magdalena Müller tells a mystical story about self-acceptance, friendship, and the courage to be different. Geraldine Massing’s imaginative set design creates a fantastical world that has already delighted young audiences in productions like The Wizard of Oz or The Little Mole. With growling scenes, witty dialogue, and a dash of suspense, the theater experience is perfect for children aged 5 and up.
