A touching family theater about friendship and self-determination. Max, the unusual snorkeling monster, finds its way to a quirky janitor – accompanied by music, acrobatics, and plenty of imagination.
This family-friendly play for ages 5 and up tells the imaginative story of Max, a snorkeling monster with permanently attached flippers. Max feels misunderstood by his environment—especially by his classmates and adult expectations. In search of recognition, he meets the quirky school janitor, who loves old schlager music on her portable radio and meticulously removes cobwebs. The two outsiders connect and develop a special friendship.
At its core is the conflict between the desire for self-determination and societal rules. Through music, acting, acrobatics, and dance, a moving production emerges that celebrates freedom and genuine encounters. The cast features Pamina Milewska and Raphael Steiner, directed by Reinhold Tritscher.
